Anybody ever try victory vaps?
I am looking for a very durable arrow and the weighted inserts look nice for foc
Or the blackeagle?
Was hoping to get up into 10 11 gpi but that seems difficult these days not afraid to pay a little more for a good heavy duty small dia arrow but I want it durable tough
Possibly even a easton fmj?
But I liked the weighted inserts in the vaps
Thanks

I love talking arrows especially high end heavy arrows. I like where this is headed.

Okay, I want to make sure I really understand your goals. So your primary focus is a tough arrow? Vaps and black eagle are tough but they are not the toughest. If you really truly want tough Element storm or grizzlystik yet are hands down the toughest shaft on the market. Aka shoot em in concrete and laugh tough. Now, we're talking $300 a dozen though.

Option B, a black eagle rampage or victory vap with a custom insert/footer system from Ethics Archery. That's also very tough and half the price.

Victory has a new and exciting shaft coming out called the xtorsions. To me, it looks like what the fmj was suppose to be. I say that because the fmj isn't very tough but it should be. Problem is they were fo free to use very thin layers of carbon and aluminum making them no more tough that any other shaft. These xtorsions promise to be "the real thing". They should be out soon. I have a guy that's already got them on order so if you want that let me know. I can also put you in contact with grizzlystik if that's the route you want to go.

Here's the Ethics system I was referring to. Very solid and well made stuff. $40/doz.

This is for .166/.165 but they have 204 coming next week. Also, for $50 custom shop fee they can make anything you want.

Great information Phil and i look forward to learning more.
I was looking for new arrows last year and the selection was so large it was hard to figure out which was the arrow would best fit my needs.
