When replacing the yoke cables; Is the cable and yoke replaced at the same time, or is the yoke a reusable part... as long as it is in good condition?

I'm putting together my "refurb" shopping list and just want to be clear on nomenclature and need.

Thanks,

MikeH.

Mike normally the yoke cables are ok and the power cable is what needs replacing. We recomend changing yoke cables if you can see a discoloration under the plastic where the cables turn on the saddle. On the black coated cable its a tough call.

Joe,

Thanks again for your quick response to this and my other questions.

I suppose my thinking is, since I have it apart, I may as well update the parts more prone to wear especially since I don't know how well the previous owner(s) kept up with it. (like with the broken rockers) And not that I am a harbinger of doom or the such, I do like to obtain and keep extra "necessities" on hand, just in case some long term disruption in supplies might occur... God forbid.
