Man! that bow looks like zeus's thunder bolt thrower. The gods themself fear it. If diana ran in to that bow she would throw away her old hunting bow for the kestrel. damm good thing cupid has a short draw or there would be no valentines day. LOL NuttyNative wrote: I normally don't care for black bows but that looks so sleek & clean, sweet set-up.

So tell me Joe, how do like that kestrel? How does it compare to the extreme? The cam system looks a lot different than the extreme. Close but not quite the same. Thanks for the impute. Love my extreme. By the way if I put the extender tubes on the pollington, does it change the point of impact?

Joe the extreme is extremely smooth and a tack driver. The kestrel is much shorter and has a draw cycle that is more like the black eagle and is also extremely accurate. The Kestel also has the burger button hole in the center of the riser making the bow much more forgiving to shoot in my opinion. Both great bows. You cant shoot just one

Guess I'll just have to wait to try one out. We need more dealers down here. What is the first total order have to be to be an onieda dealer. We need to start weekly utube videos advertising these bows and proper tuning and how to videos.

Finally got to shoot my Kestrel today. Wow, what bow. It fits me like a glove and I am very happy with it. I took it to a shop today and chrono'ed it, 280fps with a 425gr arrow. I think it is faster and quietier than the Extreme and just fits me better. Keep ya posted on the progress as it comes. Shot about 100 through it today at 20 yards just getting use to it and the new HHA sight and I love both thus far.

Going to convince me I need one! Love my extreme though. Can't wait to stick me some backstraps on the fourth of next month!

The draw is not as smooth as the Extreme but I feel it is better overall, at least for me. It's also shorter, 41 3/4" tip to tip. The Kestrel likes the Easton Full Metal Jackets, I shot a few that the shop had on hand and they performed better than the Axis.

Marty glad to hear you like the cp oneida kestrel. The bow is a great shooter and like you said shorter also. The full metal jacket arrows I would think would be stiffer than the st axis that I shoot out of my oneida kestrel. I look forward to hearing more about this kestrel in the future. I plan on hunting bear with my kestrel next month. We baited yesterday and have thirteen out of fourteen baits getting hit.
