One of our suppliers had a problem getting the targets shipped to the military. Then the unit moved to another location. Just about everything is all set now. We wanted to ship everything at one time and it looks as though the shipment should be going shortly.

Having just read this string i felt i had to add a comment. I serve with the British armend forces, Namely the Royal Air Force, I've done 3 tours in iraq and i know your guys will apprciate the equipment.

It's amazing how you guys get behind your forces, we can't even get the right equipment for the job let alone any down time sporting gear.

A big well done, i hope one day the British public will get behind us as well.

Steve CPO has everything and I will contact them tommorow and find out what we have and where things are at. We had an issue with the address to send everything. We had one of our suppliers who was going to donate 6 block style targets but was unable to deliver them to the address supplied to us because the APO address would not accept them we were told. So was unable to send them. We requested another address to send or for someone in the service to accept them then deliver them but was unable to get any assistance there. The contact person we had said he lived about 1200 miles from the base in Texas they had to be delivered and was not going to do it. We asked if there was anyone else and was told no. I believe there are about ten bows plus accesories. I will let you know more as soon as I do.

Matt has all the information on where everything is going. We have been working on this together with several others. As for donations there were several members here also who were very generous. Will let everyone know details shortly. We have all been extremely busy here as hunting season is just around the corner.

Yes the donations to Iraq is moving along and we have one more bow to send to CPO plus some money donated and once they have everything from the other vendors will be shipping all at one time. This has taken more time and work than I had anticipated.

That's great to hear about Trufire, they're about a mile from me, great people there.

I almost cried when I was packing up the oneida oneida af. The new grip I received from Bob? Bow slipped, caught the corner of the workbench and broke a piece of a corner. I could not believe it.

I hope the supplies help the troops make the most of the time they have to step away from normal duties.
